Joe has experience in planning, performing, and reporting of site investigations from land and barge platforms in tidal waters. He also has completed slope stability evaluations, designed reinforced earth slopes and drilled foundation shafts. Joe has significant field engineering experience in projects that involve deep foundation installation and in-situ field testing. Joe's experience includes deep foundation installation inspection for over 1,200 H-Piles at the New York State Capital, 80 slurry drilled concrete filled shaft foundations, to depths of 150', in Schenectady, New York and micro pile and jet grout underpinning at the NYS Court of Appeals in Albany, New York. These projects have included conventional static and Osterberg load testing programs.
